Asia + Drew | Heinz History Center Pittsburgh Wedding

Drew broke his foot a few weeks before his wedding, but if you know Drew, then you know that a few broken bones aren’t going to get in his way of marrying the love of his life.

Or dancing. It definitely didn’t stop him dancing.

I met Drew & Asia when I shot Drew’s sister Carey’s wedding in September of 2014 , and I’m thankful every day that I get to work with beautiful, gracious and loving families like theirs. If these two have set the tone for my 2016 weddings, I know it’s going to be an absolutely incredible season.

Asia is originally from Texas, and both she and Drew wanted their out of town family and friends to fall in love with Pittsburgh the way they had. What better spot for a perfect ‘burgh wedding than the Heinz History Center?  This place might be one of my favorite wedding venues in the entire city. From the gorgeous ceremony location, to the rooftop portraits to exploring the incredible exhibits, this venue is a dream!

And for a mid-March wedding, they hit the Pittsburgh weather jackpot. Even their adorable dog Fritz got to come downtown to give his mom and dad a lick for good luck on their wedding day (and don’t tell me you don’t go crazy for a tiny dog in a tiny tuxedo because then we can no longer be friends.)

As for the reception, I never thought I would find myself calling a condiment “adorable,” but there are no other words for their mini Heinz ketchup bottle wedding favors.  You just have to scroll down and see for yourself. A full night of dancing and a sparkler send-off made this wedding one for the books. Lots of love to you both!
