Alyssa & Alex laugh together - a LOT. The joy these two high school sweethearts have between each other is contagious, and you can't help but feel lighter and happier when you're around them. Not only are they gorgeous people on the outside, they let their kindness and compassion for others shine through in everything they do. And they brought their adorable little pup, Tiffany, to be a part of the celebration, too! Combine that with an absolutely heavenly golden hour in the city, and you have the makings for an engagement session for the books. I'm so grateful I get to work with amazing people like Alyssa & Alex. Now I'm even MORE excited for their March wedding next year! Here's just a small a peek inside their beautiful love story:

Nothing has been more meaningful to me as a photographer than walking alongside my clients as they travel through life, inviting me to document the happiest of moments with them. I met Lindsay and Jordan two years ago when I took their engagement photos, and they were married in one of my favorite celebrations to date. Now, they have new names: mom and dad. Little Evelyn is the snuggliest, happiest little girl in the world, and a joy to her new parents and everyone who knows her. What a little blessing you have created, Lindsay & Jordan! You know those people who you connect with instantly-- whose warm smiles and gracious hearts make you feel like you have known them forever? Molly and Jay are two of those people, even on their own. But together, they light up an entire room, making people feel joyful simply by being in their presence. Their "Jolly Greene Wedding" at Pittsburgh's Twentieth Century Club was a glorious day. It was a day that the weathermen said would be plagued by severe thunderstorms, but that never saw a drop of rain. It was full of carousels, crowd-surfing, love notes and old libraries... and so much joy. This is the story of Molly & Jay's wedding day.

The skies were heavy the day Steph and Mike got married. Gray and looming, they threatened to derail our plans of a first look at Succop Conservancy before the ceremony in Cranberry. But Steph? She barely noticed. The greatest joy for me as a photographer is to connect with someone else’s happiness, and Steph and her groom Mike made it effortless. Gray clouds? Psh. Misty rain? Not a problem. Torrential downpour? Bring it on!

Allison & Ben are getting married this December, and happen to be two of the most loving and joyful people I've had the pleasure of meeting. Ben proposed on a cold, wintry day in Ohiopyle, right on the overlook in their first picture, so we knew we'd have to do the whole session at the park and Cucumber Falls. More about their love story in their wedding post, I promise! Thanks to busy schedules and a particularly rainy Spring, we kept having to reschedule their engagement session. It turns out that was all for the best, because the morning after the Pens brought home the Stanley Cup was a perfect, bright, sunshine-y day! To Allison and Ben, who trusted me enough to climb over rocks and waterfalls all morning, thank you for inviting me in to help celebrate your love story. I can't wait for the day you say "I do!"
