Hi! I’m Rachel.
I’m a wife, mama, and photographer based in Pittsburgh, PA, specializing in families, newborns and seniors. I love fizzy water and hot coffee, and cycling through an endless list of hobbies (check in to see which one it is this month).
Gratitude for life and family is the driving force behind my work. My work blurs the line between the timeless and beautiful, and creative and emotional. Life is so incredibly vibrant and complex and joyful — and that’s exactly what I think your photos should be, too.
Motherhood refocused my life and my lens and brings me more joy than I could have ever imagined. Sure, my days are chaotic and busy and I spend a significant amount of time picking up cheerios off the floor, but--oh! This life is mine, and it is a gift.
I firmly believe in the hidden magic of the every day, and photography is my opportunity to see that magic in you and your family and show it back to you. In my images you will see real life celebrated and elevated. You will see gratitude realized. You will see real people loving each other through real moments. My photography honors the beauty of motherhood, the wonder and joy of childhood, the enduring bond of family, the celebration of growing up and the quiet, insignificant, extraordinary moments happening in your life everyday.
