Hello, and welcome to my little story-time corner of the internet! Settle in, grab a hot cup of coffee, and browse my latest posts. Here, I weave together snippets of the personal stories from beautiful humans and their beautiful lives.
Hinch Family | Pittsburgh Maternity Photography
If there were ever a walking, talking and absolutely-glowing advertisement for pregnancy, it's this beautiful mama right here. Lyndsie and her wonderful family are over the moon excited for baby Eli to make his appearance in a few short weeks! (Big brother Leo couldn't stop giving the baby hugs and kisses....and posing for the camera!). But in the meantime, I was so thrilled we could get together to photograph this magical time in Lyndsie and her family's life, full of anticipation, excitement and love.
Amanda | Pittsburgh High School Senior Portraits
Loving everything about this beautiful evening with this beautiful girl! Amanda is a senior at Gateway High School this year, where she plays on the school's soccer team. She is beautiful, driven, and an absolute sweetheart to be around. The Class of 2018 is shaping up to be fierce!
Baby E | Pittsburgh Lifestyle Newborn
Now this session is EXTRA special! I had visited this beautiful family's home two years ago to document the arrival of Big Sister. To come back again to see this trio grow to a family of four nearly made my heart burst! (Also - side note - could this Mama be any more gorgeous??)
Nina | Pittsburgh High School Senior Photography
Nina is a senior at Oakland High School in Pittsburgh this year, and an absolutely gorgeous girl inside and out! We spent the most beautiful evening at Mellon Park capturing these senior portraits.
Josh & Shannon | Pittsburgh Strip District Engagement
I wrote in my kindergarten diary, in giant, scraggly handwriting: “Josh is a pinhead.” I’m not sure what 5-year-old Josh did to 5-year-old Rachel that would have warranted such extreme language, but from then on we were the best of frenemies. I sat in front of him on the bus in middle school, and through the school bus seats we would manage to debate everything from religion to politics to TV shows (we were strange middle schoolers, Josh). In high school, we actually became the best of friends, sharing rides every day to and from school, acting and singing through every play, musical, and choir practice, and skipping rehearsal to get Rita’s Italian Ice whenever possible.
